Okay here goes nothing...This is strictly my opinion and a lot of people
might not feel what I have to say, but thats fine...One thing I wanna say
before I review. Most of the reviewing will be on the beats and the flows,
because most of the lyrics don't get much deeper than what colour their cars
are painted. This is a very rough review just to show you what I think of
this album.

Big Tymers - How You Luv That? Vol.2 (Cash Money Records)

I was at a record shop with my friend who is into more mainstream rap,
especially west and south coast stuff. Now I have no problem with his
preferences so we were listening to some of the new music, since they let
you listen to whatever at this place. He grabbed some No Limit cd, so I
decided to listen to something similiar - Big Tymers, since I had never
checked Cash Money before. I started listening to it, and I loved the beats.
I had already bought the good albums that were out at the time and thought,
why not buy try this album out. When I first got it my friend thought it was
okay, nothing special. Now he straight up loves Cash Money and is always
asking me to borrow Big Tymers album.

1.) Big Tymers (Intro) - There is a mad dope beat and its wasted on the
intro with some chatter over top (much like on the 400 Degreez). This beat
is straight raw, and could easily be used for a song. The talk over top is
basically just braggin' and speakin' their minds. The beat is kind funky
with a nice guitar streaky noise and bubblin' in the background.

2.) PlayBoy (Don't Hate Me) [feat. Lil' Wayne & Bun B.] - The beat is pretty
nice but starts to get a bit played out near the end. The second rapper rips
it up nicely. The chorus "Don't Hate Me Cause I'm Beatiful" is nice and
catchy. Decent song, nothing special.

3.) Big Ballin' - This is a fresh beat, I think this was one of the singles
they released. Then the beats flips up as the second rapper comes in, thats
dope. This is definitely hot! The beat is nice, nice and catchy. "Whoa,
Whoa, Whoa Kimosabe (sp?) - Big Big Big Ballin' Is my hobby", nice chorus. A
lot of talk about cars they got, but you gotta expect that.

4.) Tear It Up [feat. B.G. & Lil' Wayne] - This beat is nice with the
grasshopper sound in the background, ha. All the rappers compliment the beat
nicely. Lil' Wayne is dope for real, hes like 16 year old and kicks some
nice game. The beat kinda goes up to a higher code for emphasis after every
few loops, which the rappers take advantage of.

5.) Phone Call - This is just a little skit. I like how its a seperate
number so you can just skip it anytime. Kinda lame skit.

6.) How U Luv That [feat. Juvenile] - This is straight up one of the best
beats on the album, I definitely Luv that. Its got a nice background bell
noise in the back, with a dope beat over top. Then there are these nice
horns (I don't know what the sound is, but its dope) that come over top. The
beat is one of my favorites on this, seriously. Juvenile is dope on this,
seriously. Overall this is one of my favorite songs, its tight!

7.) Cutlass, Monte Carlo's, & Regals [feat. Lil' Wayne & Juvenile] - This
song is fresh. The beat is kinda uptempo. It is kinda the beat that makes
you in a good mood, and puts a smile on your face. The lyrics tell the
stories of the cars they started with, and how they have advanced. There is
a lot of talk of cars on this album, and this song is very fitting. I really
like it, and it has some of the better lyrics on this album. Dope song.

8.) Money & Power - This song is decent. The beat is dope, but it kinda
makes the day dark. You know those beats that kinda are a downer. However
the beat is fitting to the lyrics like: "nigga get your shit together, and
tell the homeboys we gonna shine in the rainy weather". Now these lyrics
kinda define this song, because it feels likes it raining when you listen to
that, but there is a crack of sunlight in the distance. This song is pretty
good.

9.) Millionaire Dream [feat. Lil' Wayne & Cadillac] - This beat is fuckin' d
ope! "I got 10 round my neck, 20 round my neck, ......" I straight love Lil'
Wayne's flow, its seriously tight. This kid could definitely be the heir to
Cash Money's throne. I noticed he throws in some sound effects in his lyrics
that help you visualize better. Cadillac throws down too. This is another
one of my favorite songs up there with 'How U Luv That'. The beat is so
fresh, and the chorus is catchy.

10.) Beautiful - This song is pretty weak IMO. The singing is pitiful and
the beat is nothing special. Overall not very impressive. My friend really
digs it, but I think its okay. Its almost like its a joke or something,
because they start singing with no ability.

11.) Ballin' - The beat is dope on this. I like the sound effect like ther
voice thats all scrambled up kinda (for lack of describing it better), that
starts out the song. This is a nice party joint, great for dancing. Fast
beat, dope flows. This is a pretty fresh song.

12.) Drop It Like Its Hot [feat. Juvenile & Cadillac] - This is one of the
better songs. The beat is kinda nice reminiscent of "It aint my fault". Nice
line with "I wouldn't fuck foxy brown with another nigga dick". This beat is
just dope. I love how Manny Fresh builds up the beat and when another rapper
steps up it climaxes. It just really emphasizes the first couple lines that
the rappers take advantage of. I love the chorus "watch out, watch out..drop
it like its hot!"

13.) Top of Tha Line Nigga - The beat is nice with the piano loop and the
voice in the background blowin' out starts it out. This is starting to get
to be a bit of a filler song, but the beat still comes through.

14.) Tell Me [feat. Lil' Wayne] - This is another tight beat, with the
guitar in the background. Its a dope beat and the rappers flip their flows a
bit over top, and it sounds dope. The poppy noise in the beat is fresh. I
like this song quite a bit. Lil' Wayne is pretty dope, and probably made
more noise on this album than Juvenile. And then Juvenile dropped 400
degreez and blew the f*ck up, just to show some of the depth that Cash Money
has.

15.) On Top of the World - This is an uptempo joint, almost like a Three 6
Mafia beat. There is some shouting and noise in the background which sounds
dope. This song is decent, not great. Kinda boring. Another example of how
the album could have been better if they cut the amount of songs down.

16.) Suga & Pac, Puff & Big (6 Fig) [feat. B.G.] - BG is dope, I expect a
dope album from him. This is a deep song talking about the Badboy and Death
Row war, hence the name. The beat is kinda supposed to be a uplifting beat I
think. Overall this song is allright. The beat is pretty tight, but its a
bit quiet.

17.) How Should I Ride [feat. B.G. & Cadillac] - I really like this beat. It
has like an organ sound in the back thats nice. Overall the beat is pretty
fuckin' dope. BG proves he definitely has some skills on this song, and
Cadillac rips it up much like he has on other songs on this album. This is a
decent song, but I find the album slows down after number 10, with some
exceptions.

18.) Stun'n (REMIX) [feat. Lil' Wayne & Popanve] - I never heard the
original but this song is straight BANGING. Its one of my top 3 songs on
this album (How U Luv That, and Millionaire Dream). The beat is just so
dope, I can't explain it but its so dope. And then Popanve kicks the chorus
nicely with a Jamaican accent. The song is just hot, I quite like it. And
then there is some reggae influenced singing that goes nicely on this song.

For me this was one of those albums that the more I listened to it the more
I felt it. At first I was mostly interested in the beats, but the more I
listened the more I felt the flows and lyrics. After you listen to this
about 4 times you will be loving it, I guarantee. I recommend that most
people in this newsgroup who has never got a Cash Money album before, pick
this up. At first you might think its okay, but it will REALLY grow on you,
like it did to me.

Take Big Tymers for what their worth and you should enjoy this. Definitely
good for any ride, if you have a system or not. I mean don't expect a duo
like Gangstarr, listen to this with an open mind. The only thing I didn't
like was the amount of songs, it should have been cut down a few; some were
a filler. Overall this album has got me open to Manny Fresh and I will
probably get all the Cash Money releases in the future. Juvenile was a nice
album, and I heard B.G. is gonna be sweet too.
